Meeting Called to order at 3:00 pm by Chris Doran

Approve Minutes for June 8th, 2023

• Chris Doran made a motion to approve minutes from June 8th.
  • John Howsden seconded the motion
  • All voted in favor 4/0

Financial Report

• Pat Toepel gave the status of Rocky Road finances:
  • Checking Account has $32,026.07
  • MMA Account has $348,434.45
  • Savings Account has $471,744

Larry Bain - Auditing

•  Larry Bain needs PDF forms completed to finish the audits for 2022 and 2021
  • Adam will work on developing the forms and send to Chris
•  Once the past audits are complete, Larry will start working on 2023
  • Chris made a motion to approve up to $4000 to pay Larry Bain for the upcoming 2023 audit
  • John seconded the motion
  • All vote in favor 4/0

Hiring of a Handy Man

• John has been speaking with Brandon Cole, a local handyman, about doing small odd jobs for Rocky Road
  • Brandon has given John a copy of his insurance for his business
  • Chris made a motion to approve up to $500 for each job that Rocky Road needs completed.
  • Pat seconded the motion
  • All vote in favor, 4/0

Hiring of a Consultant

• John has been speaking with a consultant who would be willing to act as a remote General Manager for Rocky Road.
  • Steve Palmer will charge $110/hour to act as General Manager
    • Chris made a motion to hire Steve Palmer as General Manager
    • John seconded the motion
    • All voted in favor, 4/0

Moving part of Savings to MMA

• Chris would like to move 50% of the savings to the MMA account to take advantage of higher interest rates.
  • Chris made a motion to move half of the savings to the MMA account
  • Adam seconded the motion
  • All voted in favor, 4/0

Chief Road has damage in multiple locations

• John will contact 3 or 4 contractors to get competitive bids/pricing
  • John and Marty will visit Chief Road to locate the exact spots.

Culvert Fees

• A discussion ensued about the fees for putting in a new culvert within the Rocky Road district
  • Chris made a motion that the new Culvert Fee be $75.00
  • John seconded the motion
  • All voted in favor, 4/0
